I purchased this dress for a Scottish themed party and it was a huge hit! Be certain to purchase the side bustle to properly wear this dress. I am short and it was too long, requiring two friends to help me pin then several hours of hand hemming, but in the end it was worth it. I even used some of the fabric I had to cut off to make a headpiece. It comes with a shoulder tartan that I let my husband wear to coordinate our outfits. Definitely do not size down, maybe even size up. Fits snugly through the bodice.
